Pierre-Marie – aka PM – joined the team in 2021 as Database Administrator.

He started his career a few years ago, after graduating from Ecole Centrale – one of the most renowned engineer school in France – as data engineer where he strongly developed his skills in data sources aggregation, data flow and data services.  “

He then joined Marketparts to develop data management. He works closely with Marc, our Data Scientist, and oversees all the subjects related to the whole chain of data.

In his opinion, the automotive parts market is still poorly digitized, and Marketparts has a high added-value to facilitate digital transition and optimize transactions on this market.

He also thinks that within a few years, we will no longer talk about “automotive parts market”, but about “mobility” in general.

PM is a sportsman at heart, he started with football and has turned to climbing and spikeball in recent years. He also enjoys board games and card games as poker.

PM loves backpacking and meeting new people from different cultures. He spent 6 months in Argentina and travelled while studying a semester abroad with Ecole Centrale. He speaks spanish.

His favourite series are Sense8 and Games of Thrones.

Last but not least, PM feels strongly concerned about the environment. He has adopted an environmentally responsible lifestyle and participated in several climate workshops such as La Fresque du Climat. He is a vegetarian out of conviction and has a compost bin at home! 

He usually buys second-hand goods and travels mainly by bicycle and train.
